La obra se sumerge en un rito de sanación popular ecuatoriana como medio de recuperar, remediar y trascender física y emocionalmente un acto de violencia sexual sufrida por el artista. La naturaleza, el cuerpo y la transformación a través de distintos objetos simbólicos conforman nuevos diálogos para enfrentar y superar el trauma, así como trata de crear un nuevo hilo desnarrativo lleno de sensibilidad entre el rito popular, la cotidianidad y la sanación. El videoarte instalación es una respuesta poética ante la acción performática del rito popular, la cual, a través de escenas del cotidiano, la transformación del cuerpo y el hogar busca tranferir la acción a un espacio. Este espacio se propone como un momento de traslación del plano imaginario a lo real, proyectándose en la estructura de la instalación, proponiendo un meta espacio en el cual el espectador puede tener un espacio seguro y replicar el rito.

The work submerges itself into a popular Ecuadorian ritual of healing as a way of recovering, giving remedy to, and emotionally transcending an act of sexual violence experienced by the artist. Nature, body, and transformation, through different symbolic objects create new dialogues with which to face and overcome trauma, as well as creating a way of unraveling and creating a new narrative, filled with popular rituals, the everyday, and healing. The videoart installation is a poetic response to the performative actions of the popular ritual, which, seen through the lens of everyday life, the transformation of the body and the home looks to shift this action from a body to a spatial environment. This space presents itself in the moment of translation from the imaginary to the real, projecting itself on the structure of the installation, proposing a meta space where the viewer can have a safe space to replicate this ritual.
