La instalación se activa mediante el taller de Arte Actual (Flacso) “Ir Tomando Cuerpx” el cual es una reacción a la exposición del Museo Nacional del Ecuador (MUNA) “DIVERS[ ]S - Facetas del género en el Ecuador prehispánico”. En ella se analizan a figuras diversas de las pre hispanidades Ecuatorianas y se toma un enfoque de género. La obra conlleva procesos de re significación y representación sobre la corporalidad de las piezas prehispánicas y la virtualidad. Mediante procesos de dibujo y materialidad se combinan ambas concepciones y se entremezclan, creando un ser antropomorfo que une conceptos, estética, pero están unidos por el concepto del cuerpo y la diversidad. Las otras imágenes pertenecen a imágenes de "nudes" encontradas en aplicaciones de encuentro de distintas disidencias sexuales.

The installation was developed from the workshop of Arte Actual (Flacso) "Ir Tomando Cuerpx" which is a reaction to the exhibition of the National Museum of Ecuador (MUNA) "DIVERS[ ]S - Facetas del género en el Ecuador prehispánico". It analyzes diverse figures of the Ecuadorian pre-hispanic cultures, with a particular focus on gender. The project involves processes of resignification and representation on the corporality of pre-Hispanic pieces and the modern form of diffusion: virtuality, looking at the representations of queer bodies. Through processes of drawing and the use of mixed media pieces, both conceptions are combined and intermingled, creating an anthropomorphic figure that combines concepts and aesthetics, as well as intertwining understandings of body and diversity. The other images are “nudes” found in apps for encounters of different sexual nonconformities.
